Himalayan Institute of Technology (HIT), Dehradun is ranked among the top institutes of India by CSR. The Institute has also received excellence in higher education award by the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand. The institute offers a variety of degree courses in Agriculture, Hospitality management, Science, Computer Application, Commerce, etc. Admission is done on the basis of merit. HIT started its 2022 placement drive that already engaged 75+ recruiters. Major recruiters included Wipro, TCS, Jaypee Greens, ICICI Prudential etc. More than 50 students were hired till now. BYJU’s offered INR 10 LPA, Skolar offered INR 8 LPA, Intellipaat offered INR 9 LPA & INR 7 LPA was offered by Planetspark.

According to latest media reports, Himalayan Institute of Technology, Dehradun (HIT Doon) successfully concluded the first phase of campus placements with more than 75 companies participating in HIT Dehradun placements 2022. Students in the sixth semester of their respective programmes were offered job roles in Sales, Marketing, IT technical, Agriculture and Hotel Management domains. The highest package offered during HIT Doon placements 2022 was about INR 10 LPA (offered by an Ed-Tech company). Some of the top recruiting companies that took part in the first phase of the campus placements drive included Microsoft, India Mart, Colabra, Dabar, Coca-cola, Taj, TCS, JW Marriot and Hyatt, among many others.

As stated by the placement cell at HIT Dehradun, this year’s placement rate would increase by at least 35% as compared to the previous year’s placements. Furthermore, the placements drive will witness the participation of tier-one industries offering a CTC of INR 6 LPA to INR 15 LPA.
